Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Qigong?

A: Qigong uses high-powered breathing techniques and special movements for strengthening energy.  According to Chinese Medicine, “Qi” is the leading force behind blood circulation, digestion and metabolism.

Q:  What are the key benefits of Qigong?

A: Qigong strengthens blood circulation, metabolism, digestion and the endocrine system.  Used in “Medicineless” hospitals throughout China, Qigong is frequently recommended by China’s doctors for fighting cancer and used post surgery contributing to a stronger recovery.   Qigong is scientifically shown to increasing bone marrow production of white blood cells (only when deficient) and boost the immune system’s resistance to infection.

Q: Exactly how does Qigong heal?

A: Imagine the same blood circulation you get from jogging… while standing still completely relaxed. During Qigong practice we feel a powerful pulsation of blood in our body.  The Qi and the blood are married together. In Chinese Medicine, Qi blockages cause disease. This is simply a small area where blood cannot go, or an area where disease can occur.   For example, some people may have a knot in their stomach or bad digestion. Qigong usually improves this condition. Blood can work  itself through closed off capillaries when a person is relaxed and increasing Qi in that area.  Wherever Qi goes, blood follows.

Normal healthy people use about 60% of the circulatory system. When our Qi increases this percentage also goes up. So how is this any different than jogging?  In Qigong the body is  totally relaxed, yet the blood is mobilized to flow powerfully.  Because there is no stress response or cortisol release, which contracts blood vessels, the blood can enterareas that may have been blocked off for years. No other exercise offers this level of circulation to organs & glands.Stiff shoulders beware… Qi and Blood coming through.

Q:  How is Qigong different from other forms of Exercise or Yoga?

A: Qigong makes your body pulse with energy. Only Qigong deals with the actual energy itself to such a degree – and where we pulse… we regenerate.   Yoga is a great compliment to Qigong; however, Qigong has a much higher success rate for people actually feeling Qi. Yoga enthusiasts along with those who are fitness oriented love Qigong.  Also anyone who works with energy like in Reiki.

Q:  How can I obtain certification as a Qigong Instructor?

A:  Following each 4-Day workshop we host a Two-Part instructor training. Part one deals solely with helping to improve and correct mistake in your postures and movements. Part two teaches you how to verbally deliver Qigong instruction in a way that is palatable and clear. We host these trainings 2-3 weeks following every Qi Revolution seminar.

Pre-requisite is to attend our 4-Day Qi Revolution Conference first.   Dates of trainings are listed in the confirmation letter you receive after signing up for the workshop. Cost for Instructor Certification is $99 for each day of training - and there are 2 days total. Upon passing the instructor is given a Qigong.com website profile so that people seeking Qigong can contact them.

Q: Who should consider learning Qigong?

A:  Whether you’re a soccer mom, yoga teacher, massage therapist or a small business owner and exposed to the stresses of modern day survival... Qigong enhances anything you’re already doing and gives life to it.  Ultimately, there is a real “vibe” and sense of satisfaction to Qigong for people of all walks of life.

Q: What is the best way to learn Qigong?

A:  The best way to learn is with an experienced expert of Qigong who uses precise “Qi Animation” teaching technology.  The experience is enhanced where many people are gathered learning in a large Qigong circle creating apowerful group learning and growth experience.  Adding live music and practicing inside a group energy field generated by hundreds or thousands of people doing Qigong at the same time creates a profound Qi experience.

Q: What is Food-Based Healing?

A:   Food-based healing is the art of using specific foods to reverse specific diseases. Millions worldwide have reversed type 1 & 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease, asthma, and even have had dramatic improvement for children with Autism – with food alone. Naturopathic medicine has tested the effectiveness of such natural remedies.  Attendees at Qigong events learn about blending fruits and vegetables into “smoothies.”  For example, things like the avocado with the “big” seed is tasteless in a smoothie and has the energy of an entire tree and unique phytochemicals that cleanse plaque from the arteries.   More than the foods themselves, food-based healing is about using special parts of the food
where healing compounds are most concentrated.  This knowledge is openly shared during the 4-Day Qi REVOLUTION workshop.

** Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend the seminar for any reason, we are happy to credit your payment toward a future seminar or for product purchases. **
